BRASS & COPPER
February 10th 2019, my girls and I decided to take a trip to Brass & Copper restaurant and lounge Lekki. There has been so much buzz about it and we were due for another girls day out, so why not.
It is located at No.1 Olubunmi Owa Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. It’s easy to locate once you get to Lekki phase, it’s just right after Lekki—Ikoyi link bridge round-about.
AMBIENCE & DECOR
Walking into Brass & Copper is like stepping into another country.
With its urban Italian décor the feeling of I must take picture sets in. With the aesthetics of monochromic black and white patterns with a punch of colour (mostly yellow and blue) they were able to achieve an ambience soo serene it gives out good vibes of relax, eat and have fun. It feels more private than public.
The total atmosphere is chill, everyone is dressed up and looking hot, doing their own thing and minding their own business.
The food-ooooooooooooo, My Lord (holds chest), they don’t just serve food there they serve FOOOD. It’s so delicious, two months after eating their meal and I’m in tears just thinking about it. To be honest it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been too.
My friend who was celebrating her birthday ordered a platter sorry can’t remember which and then we all had our sides. I ordered yam chips and fried plantain, cause plantain is bae.
We had two pitchers of a drink which I can’t remember too. Don’t judge me!
But anyway Kudos to their scrumptious meal.
This is the make and break of your restaurant. Bad customer service will kill your business (low-key shade on Tea room Lagos) their post is next.
The customer service at Brass and Copper is quite magnificent, they are really kind, patient and friendly. They actually smile a lot and compliment you. I like their service.
Everything I said above is true but we had a little trouble with the bill they had doubled our bill from a 25-30 thousand naira bill to a 50k bill. I didn’t want to know how they were going to do it but they have to rectify it. I cannot come and double spend. We spent an extra 2hrs trying to sort everything out, I wouldn’t lie there was a lot of raised voices and a fuck you sign to end the day.
But I won’t lie it was so much fun and their customer service is actually really good.
I want to go back there it’s quite a lovely atmosphere to be in. I hope my face isn’t on the door with a do not allow sign over it.
They need to improve the waiting time for a meal it’s too long. But an easy way not to realise the waiting period is by ordering once you arrive and taking pictures once you’re done ordering.
Hope you all like this post about my time in Brass and Copper, if you’ve ever been I would really like to hear your experience too. Don’t forget to like share and subscribe.
Love you, XOXO Diana.
