WEDDINGS WITH WHYTE: REWA + CHUKA

Welcome to another wedding with Fabian Whyte.
The 7th of October couldn’t be any more ravishing, as my father and I honored the wedding invitation of now Mr. & Mrs. Chuka Udorji. The matrimonial ceremony took place at The Cathedral Church of Christ, Falomo, Ikoyi, and the reception at Oriental Hotel, Ozumbabadiwe road.

I was absolutely amazed by the decoration of the hall. It was lit with golden chandeliers, dripping from the ceiling. Each table had a large bouquet of white roses set at the center of them. Everything else from the seats to the plate setting was dipped in gold.

The couple’s seat was placed on a high platform, which looked like a giant cake with beautiful white frosting.

The big eye candies of the day were the guests at the wedding. The females were most definitely my fave, due to their desire to be extra. Their gowns, hair and makeup were on some serious fleeking spree. (mine too) The men present couldn’t look any more dapper (and I steady low-key looking for my husband).

Let’s take a moment to discuss the food a bit, legit my favourite part of every wedding. It was everything. You all should know I’m such a foodie, trust me when I say every kind of meal was made available.
When I looked to the right I saw it, something so beautiful, it was like I was seeing heaven, it was Hans & Rene Desert stand; they had Ice cream, I couldn’t resist so I went for it. It was a beautiful.

This day was certainly one to be tagged ‘A day I would never forget’ not because of how awesome the wedding went, but cause a lot of events surrounded it. My dad left me at home that morning and I had to take an Uber to the church. A few minutes after I got there, God sent a heavy shower of blessing upon us all. It took us 3 hours to get into the Hotel, despite the fact we were already in front of it. It was quite a frustrating ordeal, plus my butt really hurt.

It was a blissful event and I had a wonderful time. God bless your union Rewa & Chuka.

MY OUTFIT

My outfit was a two piece combo. The purple top, which is actually a gown has been featured on both my blog and social media pagea once before. Well the skirt has a history.  It waa once my prom gown and I hated it cause the tailor got it all wrong.  So instead of letting it waste I turned it into this lovely skirt.
